The Situation is determined to get married before he serves time. The reality star recently announced he would televise his marriage to his college sweetheart Lauren Pesce. His wedding will air on "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" season two. But some fans think televised weddings are tacky. There is always behind-the-scenes drama the audience becomes privy to when nuptials are aired for the world to see. Do you think TV weddings are tacky?

Deron Dalton formerly of Madame Noire broke down what makes a reality TV wedding special and which couples did it best.

One thing’s for sure, reality TV weddings aren’t the same as televised royal weddings, but these weddings are just as entertaining (if not more). Reality weddings are usually filled with much drama before walking down the aisle and many of them have been ratings gold....

The Situation is facing jail time for fraud and could do five years in the big house. But he still plans on going through with the wedding. 

Some viewers think marrying on TV is just tacky. Mike Vulpo of Yahoo posed the question of whether or not getting married on TV is even a good idea.
