A study done by Condé Nast and Goldman Sachs concluded the fashion-forward prefer to shop in retail stores, opposed to the average consumer who shops online. The results of the study were compiled from a survey done by Condé Nast readers who they deem as "Fashion-forward" or "It Girls." This particular group is going against the online shopping grain, while the rest of the country can't get enough of Amazon. After all, there's nothing more comfortable than shopping in your pajamas. Do you shop online or in-store?

Move over Amazon. The Business of Fashion reports fashion-forward folks prefer in-store shopping over online. The study also showed millennials like to spend their money at shops like Victoria Secret, Nike, Michael Kors, and Gucci.

“Fashion-forward consumers appear to be resisting this change” to online shopping, the analysts wrote in the report. “They choose to spend a greater proportion of their dollars in-store than mainstream spenders, and also grant less mindshare to Amazon.”

We all can't be "fashion forward," and some of us can't wait until Cyber Monday. Besides, designers like Ted Baker are seeing an increase in online sales. And reports predict the U.S. online retail market will continue to soar
