Houston covered Dolly Parton's classic country smash "I Will Always Love You" for the soundtrack to the romantic thriller "The Bodyguard." While Parton's original version was a hit, Houston brought worldwide recognition to the hit. Houston gave us her most signature vocal performance of all time, winning Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Record of the Year at the Grammys in 1994. The mega smash topped the Hot 100 for 14 weeks, making the ballad one of the longest-running #1s of all time.
