"Daredevil," "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist" were all already canceled, and now heartbroken Marvel fans can add "Jessica Jones" and "The Punisher" to the list. "Jessica Jones" will air for a third season to wrap up the series' run on Netflix. While some fans are thankful the show will most likely get a proper ending, others are still hurting over the cancelation. "Jessica Jones" holds a fresh rating of 87 percent and an audience score of 85 percent on Rotten Tomatoes (at the time of publication). The show started with a lot of acclaim—critics and fans alike praised the strong female lead played by Krysten Ritter. 

Netflix will still air season three, even though the series will end right after. While fans are happy "Jessica Jones" will get a proper ending, there is still a lot of sadness over its cancelation.

"The Punisher" holds a fresh rating of 60 percent and an audience score of 91 percent on Rotten Tomatoes (at the time of publication). The series garnered criticism for white privilege and gun violence, but was praised by fans for its gritty action and Jon Bernthal's terrific performance as Frank Castle. In the end, the only thing that could kill Frank Castle was Netflix.
