Nelly and Ludacris both rose to prominence in 2000, becoming two of the most successful rappers of the aughts. Nelly—who grew up in St. Louis—burst onto the scene with his chart-topping LP "Country Grammar"—scoring the mega hit of the same name and "Ride wit Me." His sophomore album "Nellyville" (2002) gave us #1 bops "Hot in Herre" and "Dilemma" featuring Kelly Rowland. Ludacris—who moved to Atlanta in his teenage years—also broke out in 2000 with his top five LP "Back for the First Time." He scored his first #1 LP "Chicken-n-Beer" on the Billboard 200 in 2003. Ludacris also garnered #1 smashes like Usher's "Yeah!," "Stand Up" and "Money Maker" throughout the decade. Whew! It's a tough call between the country grammar boy and southern hospitality boy—but is Nelly or Luda your favorite?
