Best girl group of 2018: Little Mix or BLACKPINK?

Little Mix and BLACKPINK held it down for girl-powered groups in 2018. BLACKPINK made Billboard history with their hit "DDU-DU DDU-DU," which became the highest-charting hit by a K-pop girl group. Little Mix is dropping their fifth studio album "LM5" on Friday, Nov. 16, and since they won "The X Factor" in 2011, the group has been the epitome of girl power. Who was the girl group of the year?

BLACKPINK made a breakthrough in the U.S. in 2018. According to Billboard:

BLACKPINK makes history on Billboard's charts, as, among other feats, the all-female quartet debuts the highest-charting hit ever by a K-pop girl group on the Billboard Hot 100, with "DDU-DU DDU-DU" opening at No. 55 (on the chart dated June 30).
