Wearing lingerie outside has become totally acceptable. Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, and Winnie Harlow have all been spotted outside in bedroom wear. The trend has now spread and now everyday women can be caught wearing a lacy number and a pair of kicks. But, as always, some trolls online aren't feeling the look. But fashion experts say the look is acceptable if you rock it right. Would you wear lingerie outside?

Jessica Vince of Harper's Bazaar broke down all the ways you can wear lingerie outside while still keeping it classy. She says reworking a piece like a corset and wearing it on the outside is totally acceptable:

The trick is in the layering. Make like editors at the shows and wear a structured bodice like Agent Provocateur's Cadance corset over voluminous shapes. Pick an oversized shirt or jumbo sweater to offset the sultrines.

She says don't be afraid to wear your bra out either. Just throw on a sheer top and hit the town.

No longer a wardrobe malfunction, it’s now acceptable - charming, even - to flaunt your bra. Sure, playing peekaboo isn’t for everyone, and should be avoided when dressing for work, but flashing your underpinnings can be chic dans nuit. Swap beige bras for bold colours and scalloped edges worn beneath a high-necked, semi-sheer top in a contrasting colour.

But some people are mortified and cannot believe people would come out in their unmentionables and sneakers.

Also, this was basically the plot of a "Seinfeld" episode. Talk about being prescient.
