It's Grammys season! And the Tylt is facing-off the best song performances, albums, and artists in the top genre categories. The "Grammy face-offs" are chosen by a combination of popularity, impact, acclaim, rankings, and sales. But ultimately with our head-to-head predictions, we want you to let us know who and what deserves to win in each category—before the Grammys air on Sunday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

While Song of the Year awards songwriting, Record of the Year awards the actual recording or production of a song. Although Kendrick and Childish Gambino are in a stiff competition with the likes of records like "The Story of O.J.," "Despacito" and "24K Magic"—but"Redbone" and "Humble" are incredible recordings going for the gold.

Who should be humble? Not Kendrick. His hit single "Humble" topped the Billboard Hot 100, later becoming the fourth biggest hit of the year. And now it's nominated for four Grammys: Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, Best Music Video, and Record of the Year.

The album's production is nothing short of amazing, with a banging beat produced by Mike Will Made-It. With Kendrick's songwriting, when he rapped, Bitch, be humble (hol’ up, bitch). Sit down (hol’ up, lil', hol’ up, lil' bitch)"—we did!

🎶 Ayy, I remember syrup sandwiches and crime allowances. Finesse a nigga with some counterfeits, but now I’m countin' this. Parmesan where my accountant lives; in fact, I'm downin’ this. D'USSÉ with my boo bae tastes like Kool-Aid for the analysts. Girl, I can buy yo' ass the world with my paystub. Ooh, that pussy good, won't you sit it on my taste bloods?🎶

'Redbone" is so soulful, it's nominated for Best Traditional R&B Performance, in addition to both Best R&B Song and Record of the Year. Childish Gambino wrote the sleeper hit, produced by Ludwig Göransson. The song was originally released in late 2016, but re-entered the Hot 100 in the summer, peaking at #12. "Redbone" is about Gambino's fear and paranoia in keeping a light-skinned black woman he's seeing happy.

According to a Genius Video with Göransson, the production of "Redbone" was inspired by George Clinton and Funkadelic.

Below are some significant lyrics, per Genius

🎶 Daylight. I wake up feeling like you won't play right. I used to know, but now that shit don't feel right. It made me put away my pride. So long. You made a nigga wait for some, so long. You make it hard for boy like that to go on. I'm wishing I could make this mine, oh.🎶
