Is it unfair for Kathy Griffin to still be canceled?
Meghan McCain of The View says what Griffin did was unforgivable, and she could never support her. She admits the comedian is funny, but that doesn't excuse her behavior. According to Too Fab, the host had this to say:
"It's not just about -- you can dislike the president -- even at the time I don't think anyone on this show defended that photo she took and it reminded me of ISIS and what ISIS does to our soldiers and I do not forgive her," she continued. "I do not want to have anything to do with her. I don't control this show, but if she came on this show, I would definitely have some words for her. It's fine if some people want to forgive, but I think it's a much more difficult road for me."
But Joy Behar of The View says enough is enough, and it's time to forgive Griffin. Too Fab also reported:
"I think it's enough punishment, she suffered quite a bit," added Behar, who said the conversation also "opened the door" to whether you should boycott an artist because you "disagree with the artist's philosophy."
