Jordan Peele and Greta Gerwig directed two of the most acclaimed films of the year, but the Hollywood Foreign Press Association didn't notice. Instead with the exception of Guillermo del Toro ("The Shape of Water"), mostly white dudes are nominated Best Director at the Golden Globes. Peele made his directorial debut in "Get Out," which holds a 99 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and Gerwig accomplished the same thing in her directorial debut.
