Is Taylor Swift being dragged too hard? | The Tylt
Taylor Swift is having the hardest time. First, it was Hiddleswift truthers. Then, it was Calvin Harris' Twitter rant. Now Kim Kardashian has snatched Taylor Swift's blond edges and left her bald!
In a series of tweets on National Snake Day, Kim exposed Taylor for signing off on Kanye West's lyrics name-dropping on his "Famous" single (though Taylor had strenuously denied giving permission). The reality star also posted an video that seems to show Kanye getting Taylor's permission for West's lyrics "To all my southside n---as that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex." But Taylor claims she didn't approve the lyric of Kanye calling her a "b***h."Now the world is calling Taylor a đ for denying the truth! But some are coming to Swift's defenseâsaying this drama has gone too far.
So, are critics being too hard on Taylor?
Taylor's legion of fans are blasting fakes and frauds that pretended to be Taylor's supporters. They don't think it's right for her once-loyal fans to turn their backs on her over silly celebrity drama.
But others think she brought the drama on herself. Did she?
On the other hand, she has been playing the victim over Kanye's Famous lyrics and so many other matters. Many argue she's been labeled "America's sweetheart"âallowing her to get away with a lot. As a privileged white female singer, some feel she's gotten away with snakin' others and pettiness for years. These days other celebritiesâlike Kim, Kanye, Calvin and Katy Perryâare exposing her for the mean girl many believe that she is.
What do you think: Should critics continue to #ExposeTheSnake? Or #DontTurnOnTaylor world?
