'Injustice 2' trailer drops. But are fans too hyped? | The Tylt
The poster and trailer to Injustice 2 dropped. And fans are totally stoked! Literally, they are hopping on what they call a hype train!
The video game trailer sparks high-anticipation around the sequel to DC Comics' Injustice: Gods Among Us and it's scheduled to be released in 2017 on Playstation 4.
We’re doing all of the things you’d expect from a sequel. We’re adding new characters, new environments, and we’re taking environment destruction and interaction to the next level.
But we didn’t want to stop there. At NetherRealm, we always want to make games that are fun, challenging and innovative. We strive to give players a level of control that makes playing our games a truly personal experience. For that reason, we have introduced a brand new Gear System, allowing players to build their own version of Superman, their Batman and ultimately, their Injustice Universe.
Will the new gear system work? Is the gear system required to play? And is it a gimmick? Fans might be overhyped for a game that hasn't come out yet, especially one that is using an untested gear system.
What do you think: Jump on the #Injustice2HypeTrain? Or is #Injustice2Overhyped?

Im also hype for Injustice 2! I want Red Hood(Jason Todd) to be a character so badly!— Javier Areas (@Broly_64) June 8, 2016
Injustice 2? Pass. We get hyped far to easily folks, I mean that was all just cinematic stuff. We make it too easy for publishers.— Brendyn (@LeetBee) June 8, 2016
I wonder if Injustice 2 will have as bad a story as the first game— James Paul Mansell (@MrJames079) June 8, 2016
Just by looking at the Injustice 2 trailer, it makes me feel like there is going to be some gimmicky feature, like the clash system.— Emily The Deceiver (@EmilyEverfrost) June 8, 2016
I'd wait until we see how it works before talking ill of Injustice 2's loot system but something like this definitely appeals to casuals— Best Mei NA (@papermarkis) June 8, 2016
I won't care about Injustice 2's gear system if they don't force me to use it. If they do I might not get it— Jake (@jstark5454) June 8, 2016
Injustice 2 can either be really amazing or really bad with the new gear system. I like the concept of unlimited variations but others don't— Dalton Martin (@DaltynMartyn) June 8, 2016
As long as Injustice 2's gear system doesn't turn into Pay2Win I'm on board.— ZodiakHunter (@ZodiakHunter) June 8, 2016
so they're adding a loot style system to injustice 2 so you can customize your characters.. i hope they don't go the micro transaction way— Darth Super (@lSuper_) June 8, 2016
