iHeartRadio Female Artist of the Year: Adele or Ariana Grande? | The Tylt
iHeartRadio Female Artist of the Year: Adele or Ariana Grande?
On March 5, the 4th Annual iHeartRadio Music Awards is honoring the best music artists popularly heard across radio stations throughout the year. And the Tylt is predicting the winners in the "Artist of the Year" categories in a series of iHeart brackets. The ladies nominated for Female of the Year are some of the best artists in the music game. (Unfortunately, we had to leave off a nominee in this bracket—Selena Gomez.) Other nominees Adele, Ariana Grande, Rihanna and Sia all had some of the biggest pop tunes that not only ruled the Billboard charts, but also dominated iHeart's airwaves in 2016.
Check out the rest of our "Female Artist of the Year" bracket:
These pop divas might be in their own lanes, but they do share something in common—their powerhouse voices. You put Adele's vocals over a smooth pop power ballad or torch song, or you have Grande's voice over a dance-pop track, and—BOOM!—pure gold for radio listeners to enjoy. Who's going to win Female Artist of the Year?
Grande fully came into her own on "Dangerous Woman." She scored mega hits with "Dangerous Woman," "Let Me Love You," "Into You" and "Side to Side," and you can't listen to the radio without hearing one of these sexy pop tunes!
Adele lost last year to Taylor Swift. Daydreamers would love to see her walk away with the award this year.
