iHeartRadio Best Duo/Group of the Year: Twenty One Pilots or DNCE? | The Tylt
iHeartRadio Best Duo/Group of the Year: Twenty One Pilots or DNCE?
On March 5, the 4th Annual iHeartRadio Music Awards is honoring the best music artists popularly heard across radio stations throughout the year. And the Tylt is predicting the winners in the "Artist of the Year" categories in a series of iHeart brackets. The groups nominated for Best Duo/Group of the Year are some of the best artists in the music game. (Unfortunately, we had to leave off a nominee in this bracket—Florida Georgia Line.) Other nominees Twenty One Pilots, Coldplay, the Chainsmokers and DNCE all had some of the biggest pop tunes that not only ruled the Billboard charts, but also dominated iHeart's airwaves in 2016.
Who should win iHeartRadio Awards Best Duo/Group of the Year on March 5?
Twenty One Pilots scored mega hits with "Stressed Out," "Ride" and "Heathens." These are the top three rock songs of 2016—meaning they owned radio. Do we need to say more?
DNCE's music simply makes us groove and jam. Just imagine the joy of hearing one of their dance-pop tunes—like "Cake by the Ocean"—blasting the airwaves? That joy must be what iHeartRadio listeners experience.
