One Direction's Harry Styles and Niall Horan might have followed in former bandmate Zayn Malik's footsteps to go solo, but they're also the breakout pop-rock artists of 2017. Niall dropped his debut single "This Town" in the latter part of 2016, but his follow-up, "Slow Hands," definitely built up the anticipation for his debut album "Flicker." Harry has one up on Niall; his self-titled debut album topped the Billboard 200 in the Spring. So far, who's your favorite breakout artist? 🎤🎸

Harry released his first big hit "Sign of the Times" earlier in 2017. The soft rock smash peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100, while topping the U.K. Singles Chart. Since then, Harry's dropped another single "Two Ghosts." His acclaimed second single details two people who walk away from their relationship as completely different people. "Two Ghosts" is not only a rock smash but influenced by both country and folk music.

Below are some notable lyrics to "Two Ghosts," per Genius

Below are some significant lyrics to "Too Much to Ask," per Genius

🎶 My shadow's dancing. Without you for the first time. My heart is hoping. You'll walk right in tonight. Tell me there are things that you regret. 'Cause if I'm being honest I ain't over you yet. It's all I'm asking. Is it too much to ask? Is it too much to ask?🎶
