Harrison jump-started his career playing Han Solo, a cynical smuggler who is recruited to pilot the Millennium Falcon and aid the Rebel Alliance in defending the galaxy from the Galactic Empire. Although he appeared in other acclaimed films like "American Graffiti" and "The Conversation," Han Solo made Harrison an icon.

Harrison only starred in four "Star Wars" films, but the total franchise has grossed over $10 billion worldwide, unadjusted, thus far. It's clear that Han Solo started it all for Harrison!

Han Solo set the foundation for Harrison to land starring roles in films like "Blade Runner" and his Oscar-nominated turn in "Witness," but he became a leading man with "Raiders of the Lost Ark," the original film in the "Indiana Jones" franchise.

Harrison plays the adventurous archaeologist, historian and college professor in all four films, grossing impressively over $1.9 billion worldwide, unadjusted. Indy is known for his sense of humor; getting himself out of tight situations during quests or adventures; his ubiquitous fedora, leather jacket, satchel and bullwhip; his knowledge of ancient civilizations; and a paralyzing fear of snakes. Harrison made the character what it is!
