Little Mix released their smash hit "Shout Out to My Ex" in October 2016. The platinum-selling hit topped the UK charts. But most importantly, the song has to be one of the most talked about songs of 2016. In the power pop song, Perrie Edwards and her girls (Leigh Anne, Jade and Jesy) blasted her ex Zayn Malik for breaking her heart, but ultimately setting her free from him and "fuck boyness." Many guys and gals can relate to this anthem. And the breakup song literally follows the girl power formula.
On the other hand, "Work from Home" has become one of the biggest clubbangers of 2016. And it's 5H's biggest hit to date—peaking within the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. And as of September, the hit is now 3x platinum. The electropop single combines elements of trap music and hip-hop. And most importantly, the song has had us grooving right along with the ladies of 5H all year.
