"Did I do that?"

Below is the synopsis of "Family Matters," per IMDB.

Long-running Perfect Strangers (1986) spin-off series centering on the Winslow family and their pesky next-door neighbor, ultra-nerd Steve Urkel.

"Family Matters" is the second longest-running African American sitcom of all time, right after "The Jeffersons." While the show centered the Winslow family, Steve Urkel became the lead character as the show progressed. He even made an appearance on "Full House." Urkel is an icon!

The show continued the legacy of depicting black family life in a positive light, following in the footsteps of "The Cosby Show." But the show was also relatable to anyone who enjoyed TGIF shows on ABC.
