Does 'Logan' look too dark and depressing?
Moviegoers and critics both have high hopes for "Logan." But the last trailer had some fans emotional. Will the violence, bloody action, darker tone and emotion make "Logan" a great film, or it is just too much?
The first trailer was enough for some fans. In fact, it had some moviegoers worried. Did the X-Men timeline shift again? Will "Logan" be too different from previous standalone and "X-Men" movies? Were all the other X-Men killed off? Will Professor X die? Will Old Man Logan die in the end? Will X-23 be left alone in the end? Is there just too much gore? Is there too much emotion?!
These are the many questions fans are asking. Some are excited, others are freaked out. And Grunge writer Toni Matthews wrote about why "Logan" has fans like her worried, and she captured all the feels.
Yet—so many moviegoers and critics have faith in the upcoming "Logan." It's even being called the first great superhero movie of 2017. Past "Wolverine" films have had mediocre storylines, but have had great action. And "X-Men" movies have been mixed in reviews or longevity. But "Logan" seems to have a great storyline and lots of action. Fans—like GameRadar+ writer Louise Blain—are pleased! But will that be case when the film drops?
