Is the 'Ghostbusters' reboot a good or bad movie? | The Tylt
Fans and critics have been talking about the Ghostbusters reboot for months. Now critics and some fans have seen it, and the comedy has garnered some really good reviews. But as expected, some movie critics don't like it.
Finally, the debate everyone has been waiting for!
Is Ghostbusters (2016) a good film? Or does it suck?
There's been a huge back and forth since the movie was announced. Many critics have been accused of being misogynistic for saying that their childhoods would be ruined by a reboot featuring a lead female cast. Boo hoo! Many blasted the first trailer; it became the most hated trailer on YouTube until the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer surpassed it. But then some say the second trailer saved the buzz on the film. After that, people battled on whether the remake of the classic theme song was good or bad. Jeez.
The film opened in wide release on Friday, July 15. Early word is good, but right after you flock to see it opening weekend, tell us ...

GHOSTBUSTERS WAS SO GOOD! Complete stand alone film. Funniest and most enjoyable movie I've seen in a while. Delighted!— Ciara (@himynameisciara) July 11, 2016
the tears of men on Reddit who are mad that Ghostbusters isn't getting bad reviews keep me young and fresh.— Cammien Ray (@CammienRay) July 11, 2016
Even if the reviews of the new Ghostbusters were bad, at this point I'd go spend my $ on it just to ruin some male childhoods.— Martha Mihalick (@MarthaMihalick) July 11, 2016
Ghostbusters is not good. Like to the point where I'm baffled by all of the remotely good reviews. Did I watch another film?— Si Gallagher WC (@SiGallagher) July 11, 2016
