Filmmaker Don Mancini created Chucky with the release of "Child's Play" in 1988, launching a new slasher horror franchise. The supernatural horror-slasher franchise has spawned six sequels and has a reboot in the making. So far, the franchise has grossed over $176 million globally at the box office. While not a huge box office draw, Chucky is arguably the most beloved out of all the horror movie monsters. He's the reigning champion of the monster madness bracket for two years in a row!

Chucky is a Good Guy doll possessed by "the Lakeshore Strangler" Charles Lee Ray. The serial killer uses a voodoo amulet to transfer his conscious into the '80s childhood doll. Throughout the franchise, Chucky attempts to transfer his soul into a human host, originally terrorizing poor Andy, who only wanted to Good Guy doll to play with. Later, Chucky's love interest Tiffany joins him in his murderous rampage. They are the parents of twins Glen and Glenda. Yep, two killer dolls reproduced! But reproducing isn't Chucky's only ability. He also has regenerative abilities and knows his voodoo! He's literally the last thing you'll expect to be a serial killer because he's a such a good guy!

Creepily enough—Annabelle is based on a true story by real-life paranormal researchers Ed and Lorraine Warren. Annabelle is a doll associated with occult magic and used as a vessel for a demon to cast fear and illusions into its victims. Annabelle's motive is to terrorize and possess her victims into her agenda of purely evil acts. The doll takes possession of her victims through vomiting what is called "black ectoplasm" into their mouths. ECK! So, she is definitely not a doll you want to own. Like the movies show, things didn't turn out well for those who do.

The demon doll first appeared in "The Conjuring" before getting her own film "Annabelle" in 2014 and a sequel called "Annabelle: Creation" in 2017. Her spinoff moves alone have grossed over $563 million globally at the box office, so far.
