Best Christmas movie: 'Elf' or 'Home Alone'?

#LoveHomeAlone

It's the final round! We’re looking at two great holiday comedies, "Elf" and "Home Alone," which beat everything from "It's A Wonderful Life" to "Die Hard."

#LoveElf

“Elf” tells the story of Buddy, a human raised as an elf who reunites with his biological father. Will Ferrell’s natural exuberance gives the role a charm and innocence that would have been cloying with a less talented comedian.

#LoveHomeAlone

"Home Alone" centers on Kevin McCallister, a young, inventive boy who is left behind while his family flies away for Christmas. He sets up a series of Goonies-style boobytraps when prowlers (portrayed by Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci) try to burglarize his upper-middle-class house and manages to keep both the house and himself intact. (We can't say the same for the Sticky Bandits.) This movie launched the career of Macaulay Culkin.
