Check out the first pop music video from North Korea. Is this a good step or 100% tone deaf? | The Tylt
The title of the song "Surfing in the DPRK" is an obvious reference to the good vibes and fun of "Surfing USA." And hey, music can cross global boundaries to show the positive side of different nations. The Beatles did it with "Back In The USSR." But Louis Cole, the YouTuber who made the song, is no Paul McCartney and many are saying this song is tone deaf. It ignores the human atrocities playing out in North Korea. Check out the song below and vote. Do you support this music, or is it bad propaganda.
