Is City Girls and Cardi B's 'Twerk' music video problematic?

The City Girls and Cardi B are receiving a lot of heat for their collaboration "Twerk." The girls recently released a music video featuring themselves and plenty of other women twerking on a yacht. While the girls appear to be having the time of their lives and there are no men present, conservatives are calling Cardi B out. They argue the video doesn't empower women in the era of the #MeToo movement. Is twerking empowering or demeaning?

Cardi B took to Twitter to let conservatives know the video is empowering because it tells women they can wear whatever they want and it still does not give a man the right to touch them without permission.
