Brad Pitt rose to prominence with his supporting work in "Thelma & Louise" (1991) before getting his first Oscar nod for "Twelve Monkeys" in the Best Supporting Actor category in 1996. Whether or not he was shirtless, showing off his golden locks or dashing good looks, or was taking on a serious acting role–the actor's work has moved moviegoers since the '90s. His success definitely carried into the '00s and '10s. Pitt finally gained a Best Actor Oscar nod for his work in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" in 2009 and another one for "Moneyball" in 2012 before winning the top honor of Best Picture for co-producing "12 Years a Slave" in 2014.

While his marriages to Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie have been highly publicized, so has his performances. His performance in "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood" has garnered him much praise, winning the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2020 Golden Globes. Watch his acceptance speech below.

Leonardo DiCaprio scored his first Oscar nomination for "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" in 1994. He was only 19 years old, at the time. He went on to be a teen idol throughout the '90s, starring in mega romance blockbusters like "Romeo + Juliet" and "Titanic," and teen or family dramas like "The Basketball Diaries" and "Marvin's Room."

While "Titanic" cemented him as an international movie star, his performances were even more acclaimed in the aughts. He was nominated twice for the Best Actor Oscar for "The Aviator" in 2005 and "Blood Diamond" in 2007, within that decade. And he became known for his work in additional biopics like "Catch Me If You Can," "J. Edgar" and his Oscar-nodded work in "The Wolf of Wall Street," in the last 20 years. And he won his long overdue Oscar for his work in "The Revenant" in 2016. Watch DiCaprio's acceptance speech for his Best Actor win below.
