Birdman walked out of an interview. Was he sticking up for himself or being a brat? | The Tylt
New Orleans rapper Birdman walked out of an interview with the nationally syndicated hip hop radio show The Breakfast Club.
The interview that aired is about 2.5 minutes long and definitely bizarre. Birdman seems upset about how his name was disrespected. Maybe that happened off-camera, but the crew seemed confused. "Stop playing with my f**king name!" Birdman says straight away.
It could be that in the past The Breakfast Club have talked about the beef between Birdman and other artists, like Lil Wayne, who say Birdman owe them money.
Was Birdman just protecting his reputation or was his rant way out of line?

Birdman was just sticking up for himself.
That birdman incident... that is great radio. That would be Exhibit A for me when I negotiate my next contract .. i need a raise.— DJ Akademiks (@IamAkademiks) April 22, 2016
Birdman started instantly taking heat for being too sensitive. He was more or less a meme all day Friday, with people noting that Birdman wasn't getting any "respeck."
