Twenty One Pilots and Florida Georgia Line are two of the biggest music acts in the U.S., and now they are facing off for Top Duo/Group at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. Twenty One Pilots was Billboard's top-ranked duo/group for 2016, so a win isn't far fetched. But Florida Georgia Line had the biggest country hit in 2016 with "H.O.L.Y." Which duo deserves to win big at the BBMAs? 🎤🎸
Billboard's Top Duo/Group: Twenty One Pilots or Florida Georgia Line?
On May 21, the 2017 Billboard Music Awards is honoring the best music artists who dominated the Billboard charts within the last year. And the Tylt is predicting the winners in the "Top Artist" categories in a series of BBMA brackets. The duos or groups nominated for Top Duo/Group are some of the best artists in the music game. (Unfortunately, we had to leave off a nominee in this bracket—Guns N’ Roses.)
It's the Chainsmokers versus Coldplay, and Twenty One Pilots versus Florida Georgia Line in our first round.
Twenty One Pilots are on a roll. The rap-rock duo is not only the Top Duo/Group, but the Top Rock Artist of 2016. "Stressed Out," Ride" and Heathens" are the top three rock songs of 2016. Yeah, a win for the duo seem like something they shouldn't stress out about.

Florida Georgia Line not only had the biggest country hit in 2016, but the duo is the top Country Hot Songs Artist of 2016. And their hit "May We All" with Tim McGraw is nominated for Top Country Song and Top Country Collaboration. The duo just dominates country these days.
