On May 21, the 2017 Billboard Music Awards is honoring the best music artists who dominated the Billboard charts within the last year. And the Tylt is predicting the winners in the "Top Artist" categories in a series of BBMA brackets. The duos or groups nominated for Top Duo/Group are some of the best artists in the music game. (Unfortunately, we had to leave off a nominee in this bracket—Guns N’ Roses.)

It's the Chainsmokers versus Coldplay, and Twenty One Pilots versus Florida Georgia Line in our first round.

The Chainsmokers didn't just score two of the biggest hits in 2016, but the group also dominated as Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Artist. There's no stopping these EDM Gods.

Watch the music video below to "Don't Let Me Down" featuring Daya—the group's biggest hit in 2016.

Coldplay are basically rock legends at this point. They are the second biggest rock act of 2016. And they scored big hits with "Adventure of a Lifetime" and "Hymn for the Weekend" in 2016.

Watch the music video to "Adventure of a Lifetime" below, and you'll get why this rock band is still on top.

Check out the lyrics video to the Chainsmokers and Coldplay's "Something Just Like This" below.
