When chakras align: Are you more of a Beyoncé or a Solange?
Beyoncé is known for her high-tempo music and commanding performances. Yet, in the rare interviews that exist of Queen Bey, her softer alter ego takes over. Some have even gone as far as to identify Bey and Solange as goddesses of the sun and the moon. According to HelloGiggles:
And one person on Twitter noted how Beyoncé and her sister Solange have now separately channeled the celestial elements of the sun and moon, indicating what we already all knew — that the Knowles women are pretty much goddesses.
Solange has been releasing music since she was a teenager, but fans felt she truly blossomed into her own when she dropped "A Seat at The Table" in 2016. The album was filled with soulful vibes and unleashed a sound that was rare at the time. Solange's music goes against the personality of the woman we saw in the elevator or even the seemingly rebellious teen mom and NBA wife she once was. According to the Chicago Tribune:
"A Seat at the Table" is in no hurry to deliver a knockout punch. Instead, its subtle grooves and delicate vocals underplay the steely resolve, the long-simmering ache in the words.
