Below is the synopsis of "Beavis and Butt-Head," per IMDb

Animated MTV series about two teenage heavy-metal music fans who occasionally do idiotic things because they're bored. For them, everything is "cool" or "sucks."

Mike Judge's "Beavis and Butt-Head" started as shorts in 1992 before becoming an adult animated sitcom in 1993 and lasted until 1997, before being revived shortly in 2011. The satirical adult cartoon poked fun at teenage idiocy and childishness, causing both controversy and laughter over the years.

Below is the synopsis of "Daria," per IMDb.

A smart and cynical girl goes through teenage life as a proud outsider in a world of mainly idiotic adolescents and condescending adults.

"Daria" also poked fun at teenage idiocy, but the titular character wasn't the idiot. The smart and sarcastic teenager had a cynical world view, and for good reason for being surrounded by simple teenagers and adults. While the cynicism made us all chuckle, we enjoyed the series even more due to the late '90s backdrop. Now fans are anticipating the "Daria & Jodie" revival.
