'Battlefield 1' and 'Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare' trailers go head-to-head | The Tylt
It's the ultimate video game showdown!
While fans are praising the trailer for Battlefield 1, others are bashing its upcoming competitor ... Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's trailer.
Will Battlefield 1 do better than Infinite Warfare?
Fans disliked Infinite Warfare more than 1.3 million times on YouTube. The trailer is the most disliked video game trailer in YouTube history. On Twitter, fans have been coming to Infinite Warfare's defense — noting that they believe many of the haters are still going to buy the video game. Some of the dislikes might be how Activision is releasing the game Modern Warfare remaster as a bundled game if you buy Infinite Warfare. That means some of the dislikes could be signs that people are going to purchase the game, albeit bitterly. Call of Duty has a long history of knocking out great games and Infinite Warfare is being criticized for its space setting. But as one defender wrote in Forbes:
"Finally, I just have to say this: A lot of people are actually excited about a Call of Duty set in space. A lot of gamers love space stuff, and this is a great opportunity for them to get a mainstream FPS set not in some distant galaxy, but in near-space."
Meanwhile, Battlefield 1 ranks as one of the 250 greatest liked videos on YouTube and now holds the honor of being the most liked trailer across any genre with 1m likes, according to Forbes. Its trailer has come out to great fanfare and an eager audience for the full release.
Battlefield 1 will be released Oct. 21, 2016 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare comes out Nov. 4, 2016
What do you think: #Battlefield1 or #InfiniteWarfare?

About half of those people disliking that Call of Duty trailer on YouTube are definitely buying that game and grinding it day 1.— Mike Rufail (@hastr0) May 9, 2016
So 1 Million dislikes now? I'm gonna laugh so hard in a (very painful way) if this latest Call of Duty is the best selling Call of Duty yet.— Joe Vargas (@AngryJoeShow) May 9, 2016
The most disliked videos on Youtube are the trailers for a female Ghostbusters and Call of Duty in space. Because nerds hate any progress.— Mike Lawrence (@TheMikeLawrence) May 9, 2016
