Arnold Schwarzenegger is now 70 years old, but he'll forever be known as one of cinema's greatest action movie heroes. Moviegoers still love his good and bad versions of the android T-800 from the "Terminator" franchise, remaining his most quotable movie role to date. But other fans would agree that starring as Col. John Matrix in "Commando" is Arnold's most badass, and violent, action hero role. Which role is Arnold's greatest? 💪🎥
Arnold Schwarzenegger's most iconic action role: The Terminator or John Matrix?
"I'll be back."
Below is the synopsis of "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," per IMDB.
A cyborg, identical to the one who failed to kill Sarah Connor, must now protect her ten year old son, John Connor, from a more advanced cyborg.
He was certainly back after the original "Terminator" film, where he played a cybernetic assassin sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor—so her son would never be born to start the human resistance against the machines.
But in "Judgment Day" Arnold plays a good T-800 who protects Sarah and John from a more deadly cyborg threat. While both versions of T-800 are iconic, playing the hero is what Arnold is known for.

"You're a funny guy Sully, I like you. That's why I'm going to kill you last."
Below is the synopsis of "Commando," per IMDB.
A retired elite Black Ops Commando launches a one man war against a group of South American criminals who have kidnapped his daughter.
After Rambo (Sylvester Stallone), we got John Matrix! John is a former colonel from an elite Delta force unit. He might be retired, but he's a total badass, and that's apparent after mercenaries kill his former unit.
