Streaming services changed the way we listen to music. Spotify was ahead of the curve when it launched in 2008, then Apple Music followed in 2015. Spotify has a massive catalogue of music and offers a free streaming option. Apple Music provides subscribers with exclusive content from their favorite artists and Beats 1, an internet radio station. Which music platform is your favorite?

Spotify has more subscribers than Apple Music, but the latter makes more coin and it can offer something users its competitors can't. Digital Trends has more:

Since Apple Music first became available to subscribers in 2015, the Silicon Valley giant has been playing a game of catch-up, and a key part of the company’s strategy has been a steady flow of partnerships involving blockbuster releases by big-name artists. In particular, Apple has done well to join forces with household names in the world of rap, hip-hop, and R&B — which make up over one-third of music streams in the United States, according to Neilsen Music.

Spotify's music catalog cannot be beaten. According to The Verge:

Other than having a unified app experience, Spotify has a large catalog of music (35+ million songs), the best playlist recommendations, useful, yet non-intrusive social features, and a variety of plans (including student discounts) that make it great for most music listeners with a smartphone and some headphones.
