Fans are anxiously awaiting Alessia Cara's sophomore album "The Pains of Growing," especially after winning the Grammy for Best New Artist in 2018. Harper Bazaar's Erica Gonzales caught up with Alessia to discuss her new music:

The last album was very much about rebelling against my problems, but this album is a lot more about facing them head on and accepting them fully instead of suppressing them.
I think I wanted to open with "Growing Pains" because it's a general introduction to what I've been going through and a little bit of a peak into my head and my life. The songs to follow will be more of a microscope on specific things that I've been going through. "Growing Pains" is like, “I'm going through some stuff,” and then each song following that on this album is, “Here’s what they are.” Whether it's about love, or if it's about personal stuff, whether it's about the state of the world. But it's not all negative. There are happy moments in there, too, nostalgic moments, of course.

Hailee Steinfeld's fans are definitely ready for more music after dropping "Capital Letters" with BloodPop. She dropped her debut extended play "Haiz" back in 2015, but she hasn't dropped a full-length studio album yet. Back in March, she was reportedly wrapping up the project. According to AOL's Gibson Johns, she said:

I’ve been in the studio every single day for a while now, and it’s weird to talk about it wrapping up, because I’m getting closer and closer to narrowing down the songs, picking the songs and placing them on the album. It’s so weird, because it feels like I have ten more things I want to talk about [on the album], but I’ve really got to wrap it up. [Laughs] I’ve got people that are like, “We’ve got a date!” I’m also going on tour this year with Katy Perry in the UK and Charlie Put this summer, so I’m beyond excited to have new music to play.
