"A Christmas Story" still resonates to this day. The classic holiday comedy teaches kids about the importance of Christmas and the holiday spirit. It's about more than just presents, but at the same time, all of us were kids once. We know what it's like to long for that special toy during the holiday and the anxiety behind whether or not you will receive that gift. That's a feeling kids will always have during the holidays. So, "A Christmas Story" will always be relevant. The National Film registry would agree; "A Christmas Story" was inducted for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
