Would you see blockbuster movies in 4DX? | The Tylt
Moviegoers can experiencing blockbuster superhero special effects on a whole new level with 4DX. Like 3D and Imax, 4DX enhances your movie experience, but it takes things up a notch by making you feel like you're literally in the movie!
Captain America: Civil War is only the latest movie available in 4DX, which uses motion-controlled seats and special effects like rain, wind, smoke, fog, scents (yes, your nose will tingle) and more to take you on the journey of a lifetime.
It's literally an adventurous ride while watching a select few of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters. Some call it the next-stage in the movie going experience. Critics, however, say the growth in motion picture experience technology and special effects is becoming too expensive and too gimmicky!
Would you go see some of the most highly-anticipated blockbusters in 4DX for a fun movie experience? Or does it seem too much of a gimmick, unneeded to enjoy already fun movies?
4DX has been around for quite some time in international markets. South Korea's CJ 4DPLEX created and owns the company — launching the experience in Seoul with Journey to the Center of the Earth in 2009. However, it hasn't been as accessible in the U.S. ... until now! 4DX USA is available at Regal Cinemas in Los Angeles and New York City, and at Marcus Gurnee Mills Cinema in Gurnee, IL. Recently, Regal Cinema in New York expanded its 4DX accessibility at two locations: Regal Cinema Union Square 14 and Regal E-Walk Stadium 13 (Times Square).
Civil War, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Jungle Book and The Huntsman: Winter's War are some of the latest movies fans have been enjoying worldwide in 4DX. The amount of movies in 4DX is growing and the highly-anticipated X-men: Apocalypse is next up!
