For one thing, Teddy Roosevelt was a professional martial artist. While many may be familiar with his pugilist skills, few would be aware of his love for jiu-jitsu. That’s right: Along with other forms of combat such as wrestling, Roosevelt took to the ancient practice, and had the habit of randomly challenging people to a healthy tussle.

On top of that, ol’ Trust Buster was widely recognized as an extremely powerful figure imbibed with a never-ending energy despite suffering from asthma. He garnered broad renown for his antics as a Rough Rider, a ragtag crew of military members that managed to force enemy troops to surrender within a matter of days. As president he became the scourge of corrupt businesses; an avid conservationist; and a “big stick” in foreign policies. All in all, Theodore Roosevelt Jr. was a force to be reckoned with.

Abraham Lincoln was by all accounts a mild-mannered man. That by no means meant he wasn’t a tough cookie. Born into poverty, Lincoln developed a grit and sense of justice that dictated both his actions and future policies. This made him steadfast in his believes and unwavering in his opinions. Not to mention he was a muscular six-foot-four, making him an intimidating presence as a wrestler (especially for vampires).

Honest Abe was also incredibly determined. Despite both his parents’ illiteracy, he taught himself to read and write. He eventually became a lawyer; a captain in the Black Hawk War in 1832; and fought against slavery, which he found immoral. Don’t mess with the top hat.
