The first rule of working from home is simple: be as comfortable as possible. The more at ease you are, the more productive you will be. So kick back, stay in bed and commence the workday.

Others say the opposite, arguing it's impossible to be productive when dressed for bed. According to the Guardian's Hadley Freeman:

Working in your pyjamas is a lot like working from bed (and the two often go together): it seems like such a great idea when you start, but you realise that if you’re dressed for bed, your brain will thinks it’s bedtime and totally fuzz out.

Who says you can't save the world in sweatpants? Your productivity is completely dependent on your mentality, and if you feel stronger without regular clothes, makeup, a bra or anything else that you normally wear, forgo those items and commence your work.

A little effort goes a long way. Although staying in your PJs might seem like a great decision at first, you're likely to find that the thrill of it does not last. Whether it means simply putting on a pair of regular pants or maybe even a watch, those small routines can help recreate the feeling of going to the office when your mind needs it most.
