Will new stay-at-home hobbies last in a post-COVID19 world?
If Instagram is to be believed, the world is full of people inventing dances, finishing puzzles, knitting, painting, baking sourdough bread. You name it, people are doing it (safely, and indoors). If anything good can come out of the present situation it could be a resurgence in arts and crafts (universal healthcare and competent pandemic response would be great, too, but let’s focus on crochet for now).

I’m going to make a Bundt cake!” No, people are going to drop all that Martha Stewart stuff and go live. Outside. With other human beings.
