Why wouldn’t a giraffe wear a tie directly under his chin? It doesn’t make any sense! We as humans wear ties close to our chins; wouldn’t proper tie style guides dictate the same for giraffes?

Granted, human necks vastly differ from those of giraffes (although, personally, not having to move much to chew on something is preferred), but the aesthetic remains the same. Keep those chins up and those ties up by your chin, Mr. Giraffe.

Okay, since we’re on the subject of humans-versus-giraffe anatomy, think about the length of a giraffe’s neck when compared to ours. It’s got the same number of neck vertebrae, but it's longer, right? So when humans wear ties, it’s going to look like it’s closer to our chins comparatively when all ties are, in fact, laying on our chests. Dispel the optical illusions, friends.

No one wears ties right under their chins unless they’re total noobs or middle schoolers at their first dance. Now, if the discussion was about where a giraffe would have a choker, then, well…that’s another matter, entirely.
