BuzzFeed inadvertently tore the Internet apart when it revealed a deep chasm between staffers who could not agree on what the acronym "IMHO" actually stands for. Dictionary.com says the acronym stands for "in my humble opinion," as does much of recorded Internet history—tracing its origins all the way back to Usenet. But a new generation of Internet denizens says "IMHO" stands for "in my honest opinion," and are apparently rewriting the rules. Sorry, olds. What do you think?
