It’s safe to say that travel is up in the air right now. That being said, with things starting to open back up, those hit with a hefty dose of wanderlust (or I’d-like-to-travel-past-two-blocks syndrome) are dipping their toes in alternate, social distancing ways to travel. Enter: RVs. Some find recreational vehicles to be not only the most freedom-fueled way of traveling, but the most cost effective. Others would much rather stay in a hotel. What do you think?

So what, exactly, are the downsides of RV travel? That was a trick question, ‘cause there are none. It’s basically personalizing a hotel room, putting it on wheels, and taking it wherever the hell you’d like. Plus, they’re super safe, whether you’re on the highway or off the beaten path.

RVs are having a bit of a comeback these days (a RenaiVassance, if you will), primarily because they allow people to safely travel during the pandemic. Let’s hit the road, guys and gals—let hot wheels 2020 commence!

So what, exactly, are the downsides of RV travel? That was a trick question, ‘cause the answer is “everything.” So you pack yourself into a gas-guzzling behemoth of a vehicle that everyone on the road hates, stopping off at seedy rest stops with individuals who actions are questionable (at best), and this is supposed to be a fun time? No, thank you.

OK, sure, we get that you want to travel despite everything that’s going on. But be patient, young grasshopper. Hotels will open up sooner than you think; and that RV trend will be on a steep, steep downtrend. Or on fire. We hope.
