After the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and too many others, protests sparked across the country and the world, and these three organizers were part of it. Gen Whitlock, Tiana Day and Lily Someson came together for a roundtable discussion on how they got started organizing, why it is crucial to demand local change, what their biggest organizing fears are and their biggest joys. Though there is fear in being the first person to speak out, these organizers have learned how to use their voices and lift up others.
