In a transparency report Uber said it has received 267 subpoenas by local authorities during the second half of 2015.
A report released in March found instances of Uber riders submitting customer complaints that used words like "rape," and "assault."
The company says the words are being taken out of context, and most of the subpoenas are about credit card fraud and other non-violent issues.
