Is Snapchat capable of making tech-glasses that don't suck?

Snapchat (now Snap Inc.) is evolving from an app company into a "digital lifestyle brand" a la Apple (which used to be Apple Computers). Its first major product will be "Spectacles," glasses that can take photos and video, and upload them to Snapchat. Kids like Snapchat and glasses. Why not both?! Unless Google's "Glasses" adventure totally wrecked the market for tech-glasses. (Privacy concerns aside, you just look like a tool wearing tech-glasses.) What do you think? Vote below! 😎

Tech reporters think Snapchat ... err, Snap Inc., might be able to pull it off. And TIME isn't the only one who thinks there's something to Snap Inc.'s plan:

"Spectacles are different from Google Glass and similar devices in several important ways. They’re significantly cheaper, they’re designed solely for capturing video, and they’re meant for casual use."
