Is there anything more satisfying than ending a long day of work, somehow making it to the gym, and coming home only to realize you already have a nice, thought-out meal waiting to be eaten in the fridge? We can answer that for you: no, there is not.
Meal prepping means being orderly in some way, shape or form in your life. That order brings with it more cash in the bank (since you’re not spending it on delivery fees and the “oh I’ll just treat myself to extra guac” mentality), as well as time saved. Setting aside a day or two just to figure out your eating schedule pays off so, so much more. That way, when you do eat out on occasion, you really are treating yourself. You can feel good about that extra guac!
Not all of us are overachievers. Because of this we don’t smugly set time aside and plan each and every calorie for each and every day of the week. This crazy thing called “life” gets in the way, so please forgive us if we like to eat out to cater to our busy schedules.
Planning all your food ahead is just so…boring. Where’s the excitement? The adventure? The not knowing what you’re putting into your mouth later on in the evening (clean your filthy minds, thanks). Also, if you cook something and it’s in your fridge all week, doesn’t it, like, go bad? Give it to us fresh, give it to us fast, and make sure it’s delivered SEAMLESS-ly, if you get what we’re saying.
