AirPods Pro are the new and improved AirPods. The model allows users to choose what they want their headphones to be. Although the AirPods Pro offer noise-canceling capabilities, users need only switch to Transparency Mode to allow for a different sound experience. Moral of the story: these headphones have it all.
Apple makes it clear the AirPods Pro are the new age of sound technology. The company has taken extra measures to ensure these headphones are perfect for every individual user and their needs:
Using the pressure-equalizing vent system and advanced software that leaves just the right amount of noise cancellation active, Transparency mode ensures that a user’s own voice sounds natural while audio continues to play perfectly.
But imagine the heartbreak when you get used to high-quality sound of the AirPods Pro, only to drop one down a storm drain on the street. Of course, you'll tell yourself that you will take special care of your AirPods—you'd never let anything happen to them. That is, until someone bumps your elbow as you're putting them away. All too soon, your $249 will be lost. As CNN's Samantha Murphy Kelly writes:
I had a pair of new $249 AirPods Pro for less than 12 minutes when one tumbled out of my ear and landed an inch from the edge of a train platform.
"I really thought you were going to go after it if it fell," the stranger next to me scoffed.
According to Murphy Kelly, it costs $90 to replace a single AirPod Pro. Better to play it safe and not spend the money at all.
